4 Months+ No Blogging=You Have Been Warned

You know how Life Magazine (or maybe it's People?) does the "Year in Pictures" issue annually? Well, that must have been what I was going for too. My very own rendition of "Spring/Summer 2010 in Pictures". Stay tuned for the fall/winter issue coming soon.

B family pictures at the Star Mill

I turned 28, Will went to Thanksgiving Point gardens with the two Annas, and we listed the Acura for sale (which never sold for the amount we wanted so luckily we still own it today and are happy about that!)

Will trying to bribe me to watch Nemo by agreeing to kneel down for prayers (middle) & hanging out and hiking in St. George (sides)

Lee/Carmichael family (my mom's side) reunion up Ephraim canyon and the quilt I spent many hours of my life making to be auctioned off to raise $ for next year's reunion

4th of July fireworks...we get to watch them from our backyard every year and never have to fight the crowds...love it!

Las Vegas trip to go visit Great Grandma & Grandpa S, Grandpa S's grave, Shannon and Jaycie, and...

...the Posse! Mitra was in town from Hong Kong so Jacquelynn and I drove down with the kids and met up with all my BFFs

Ryan turns 30, I throw a big bash up at Mueller Park for the occasion, and he demonstrates to everyone how to compile their "completos" (Chilean version of a hot dog, aka a good old fashioned boiled hot dog with guacamole, tomatoes, and mayo plus all the regular fixins)

Will inherits a like-new bike from the neighbors (left) and is just downright adorable (right)

Pioneer Day camping with friends

Girls' weekend at my friend's cabin and lots of shopping, eating, and laughing! Seriously, how do girls live without these trips?

Will showing off his new clothes from my girls' trip shopping extravaganza, falling asleep on the couch (which I have to say is an EVENT in our family with how the kid never stops, much less falls asleep mid-play), and Will learning how to take pictures

My inspiration for wanting to start a garden this spring, compliments of many generous neighbors' gardens

Grandma and grandpa taking Will fishing for his very first time up Ephraim canyon. He was a little startled when the fish came out that it flopped around so much. Grandma was the winner of the day and caught more than all of us combined!

Then we came back to the house and rode horses...for Will's first time as well, I believe. It was an exhausting but very fun day and we are so lucky to have grandma and grandpa to take us to do such fun things!

If you are reading this, congratulations on sticking it through! In this day and age of blog giveaways and facebook contests, I offer you absolutely nothing but the joy in your heart of knowing our family that much better by wasting a few minutes of your life by staring at my blog :)

Loved it, Dawn! You pulled off a way better rendition of a "year in pictures" than any magazine could ever do! ;) I love your family--you guys are great!

I think the year in pictures is a PERFECT idea. Maybe I will just start to do that instead of blogging altogether! lol

I love you, Dawn. And I love that you called yourself a Utard. You're right - that Utah chick is totally crazy. I'm anxious to see what psycho thing she'll do when he gives her the boot. Btw, that quilt you made was gorgeous. I hope you made some good money from it.
